Four years ago, I asked for your support. I ran on a simple promise — to rebuild our Party and create a foundation capable of competing everywhere in Westmoreland County. Today, I am proud to say that together, we have made progress. Now it is time to build on that success and continue moving Westmoreland forward.

Working Together to Elect Democrats.
Dear Committee Member —
Four years ago, I asked for your support to serve as Chair of the Westmoreland County Democratic Committee. I ran on a simple promise: to rebuild our Party, strengthen our organization, invest in our committee, and create a foundation capable of competing everywhere in Westmoreland County. Today, I am proud to say that together, we have made progress.
When I first sought this role, I pledged to modernize our operations, strengthen regional organizing, improve fundraising, embrace data-driven voter engagement, build a Party where every Democrat had a seat at the table, and ensure that electing Democrats remained at the center of everything we do.
Over the past four years, we have built our digital and physical infrastructure across the county, expanded volunteer engagement, more than doubled the size of our committee, strengthened relationships with labor, Democratic partners, and elected officials, improved our financial position, filed campaign finance reports in a timely and responsible fashion, and created voter-turnout programs producing measurable results. We built a state-of-the-art website, modernized our brand, created the Obama-Kukovich Spirit of Hope and Change Dinner, and reinvigorated participation at the Westmoreland Fair and other community events. Most importantly, we have seen significant increases in Democratic turnout and momentum at the ballot box.
Since 2022, we refused to be distracted and built power to increase Democratic turnout, often by double digits. In 2023, we won school board races in some of the reddest districts in Westmoreland and closed margins statewide to help elect a Supreme Court Justice. In 2024, not only did we flip the cities of New Kensington and Greensburg (kudos to all!), we were one of just a handful of counties not to backslide on numbers for Harris, and because of the WCDC Mail-Ballot-Chase Program that we created, we ranked among the highest vote-by-mail return rates in the Commonwealth. In 2025, Westmoreland County went blue for judicial retention and, with 53% Democratic turnout, we outpaced the state average and exceeded larger, better-resourced counties. In 2026, we again outperformed previous Westmoreland trends and, with candidates on the ballot in nearly every legislative district, delivered a 14% greater vote share than the Republicans, giving our candidates momentum heading into November.
But the work is not finished. While we have made important progress, the challenges ahead require experienced leadership, continued innovation, strong fundraising capacity, and a commitment to building on the foundation we have established together, while bringing new and younger voices into the process.
It's been an absolute honor
to serve you these last four years.
It's been an absolute honor to serve you these last four years and I can't begin to overstate my appreciation for everyone who's been a part of our progress. This is absolutely a team effort and we are stronger together. Today I announce that I am seeking another term as Chair because I believe the momentum we have created must continue. We have moved from rebuilding to growing, from organizing to competing, and from laying the groundwork to positioning Democrats for success throughout Westmoreland County. We have proven year after year that when we reject division, unite around shared objectives, and focus on turnout and organizing, we are powerful.
Moving forward, I plan to implement a Partisan Voter Registration Program to grow our numbers, expand training for precinct committee people, strengthen candidate recruitment and, using my 15 years of campaign experience, launch a candidate training program tailored to the realities of our county. I also plan to provide more operations support for each region by bringing in consistent field support and materials. Most importantly, I will continue working to bring more young people into Party leadership — which is why I'm excited to announce my support for Jeremy Davidson for Vice Chair of the Westmoreland County Democratic Committee.
Married for 25 years and proud mom of one daughter, I am a former public school teacher (PSEA and MLEA) with a Master's in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. I strongly support public education. I am pro-choice. I support LGBTQ+ rights and safe gun laws. I believe affordable healthcare, clean air, and clean water are fundamental human rights. I passionately support workers' rights and know that good union jobs and strong labor partnerships are essential. I am also committed to bringing more young people into the Democratic Party.
Promises made in 2022
have become promises kept.
The promises made in 2022 have become promises kept. Now, as we move into a critical midterm election, municipal election, and an opportunity to take back our country in 2028, it is time to build on our progress, join tested experience with new vision, and continue moving Westmoreland forward with you, with Jeremy Davidson, and with an amazing and growing team — toward our shared goal of electing Democrats.
I respectfully ask for your support and your vote for me as Chair and for Jeremy Davidson as Vice Chair.

Commitment to Grounded Democratic Leadership.
Dear Committee Member —
We're at a pivotal moment for our nation and our county. Now more than ever, we need leadership that ensures everyone has a seat at the table — leadership grounded in our lived struggle and committed to listening to all of us. I am a lifelong Democrat shaped by those experiences, and I've already proven my dedication to this party through service. Today, I'm announcing my intention to run for Vice Chair of the Westmoreland County Democratic Committee to strengthen Michelle Milan McFall's leadership as Chair.
Why I am a Democrat.
I grew up in a small Wisconsin town, raised by a newly single mother with three kids. Democratic social safety‑net programs — food stamps, heating assistance, and home‑weatherization support — kept us afloat when we needed it most. When my mom remarried, we no longer relied on those programs, but I never forgot that they helped save our family.
As a first‑generation college student, Democratic policies again opened doors for me through Pell Grants and federal student loans. College didn't just give me the skills to build a career in business — it gave me the space to discover who I am. I volunteered for Jay Johnson's congressional campaign and came out as gay — finding the only party that embraced my identity and fought for my right to exist.
My career took me to New York City, I met my partner Sudipta, and eventually we moved to Westmoreland County, where we've lived for over a decade — I work at PNC and he works in education. Sudipta — now a naturalized Indian‑American citizen — and I are proud to call this community home. And still, it is Democratic values that protect families like mine — an LGBTQ+ and immigrant household — and that make social mobility possible and stand up for our rights.
That's why I stay in this fight: so all of us can thrive in a country that keeps its promise of opportunity.
Turn Complaints into Local Action.
Step Up When Leadership Is Missing.
When I moved to Murrysville in 2016, my local Democratic committeeman knocked on my door within two weeks and reminded me that yes, Democrats live here — and we could build something real. I started attending MEDC meetings, and after the 2016 election our conversations shifted from frustration to action. We knew we needed visibility and infrastructure.
I met Michelle in 2019, and by 2020 we were part of a small group that opened our first Democratic office on Route 22 and sponsored billboards declaring that Democrats do exist in Westmoreland County. The results showed real gains in turnout and margins compared to 2016.
After that success, Michelle and I agreed MEDC needed to become a PAC so we could raise and spend money effectively. I helped rewrite the bylaws in late 2020, formalizing MEDC as a PAC and creating an endorsement framework. In 2021, Michelle became Chair and I became Treasurer. Within weeks we opened the PAC and held our first endorsement convention within months. We committed to consistent election mailers, offices in presidential and gubernatorial years, and Route 22 billboards when needed.
As Treasurer, I delivered full financial reports at every meeting and filed every state campaign finance report — always, even when not required. MEDC elected me Chair in 2025, and I've continued that commitment to structure, transparency, and action. After our 2026 primary mailer went out, we began fundraising to reopen our Route 22 office this fall. We defined success in our region and we continue to deliver.
Scale Local Efforts to the Entire County.
Leave Westmoreland Better Than We Found It.
When WCDC members elected Michelle Chair in 2022, she appointed me Treasurer because she believed the county deserved the same financial discipline I brought to MEDC. My focus was simple: transparent books, every report filed on time, every cycle, whether required or not. I cut unnecessary operating expenses in the first year and kept them low, ensuring more of our money went directly into party‑building.
Under Michelle's leadership, WCDC saw major fundraising growth and built world‑class candidate events — with the Obama‑Kukovich Dinner becoming a regional bellwether that neighboring counties now anticipate each year.
I'm grateful to the almost 13,000 Westmoreland Democrats who elected me to a four‑year term on State Committee which would complement my service as WCDC Vice Chair. At our first meeting on June 13, my peers in the SWPA Caucus elected me Treasurer of the caucus PAC — another opportunity to serve where needed and strengthen our region.
I see a bright future for Westmoreland Democrats, and I'm confident we can achieve it by re‑electing Michelle McFall as County Chair.
As Vice Chair — and as an elected State Committee member — I will stay connected to Democratic voters across the county, listen to concerns, and deliver what's needed. We will hold town halls, in‑person events, and real conversations that move us forward together. This election year demands constructive, steady leadership. Michelle Milan McFall as Chair and Jeremy Davidson as Vice Chair will provide exactly that.
I want to be clear‑eyed about this moment. The Democratic safety net that lifted my family — Pell Grants, federal loans, food assistance — has been steadily eroded, even as housing, healthcare, and education have climbed out of reach. A generation of young Democrats now faces obstacles I did not. And under the current president, hard‑won rights for workers, women, LGBTQ+ people, immigrants, and so many others are being rolled back at every level of government. They deserve a party that organizes for their future, not one that rests on its past. That is the work I will bring to this role.
I am grateful for the support and encouragement I have received, and I look forward to earning your trust and your vote at the County Committee Reorganization Meeting: Saturday, June 20 at 2:00 PM at 951 Old Salem Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.
I look forward to earning your trust and your vote.
In Democratic Solidarity,
Jeremy Davidson
