Four years ago, I asked for your support. I ran on a simple promise — to rebuild our Party and create a foundation capable of competing everywhere in Westmoreland County. Today, I am proud to say that together, we have made progress. Now it is time to build on that success and continue moving Westmoreland forward.

Working Together to Elect Democrats.
Dear Committee Member —
Four years ago, I asked for your support to serve as Chair of the Westmoreland County Democratic Committee. I ran on a simple promise: to rebuild our Party, strengthen our organization, invest in our committee, and create a foundation capable of competing everywhere in Westmoreland County. Today, I am proud to say that together, we have made progress.
When I first sought this role, I pledged to modernize our operations, strengthen regional organizing, improve fundraising, embrace data-driven voter engagement, build a Party where every Democrat had a seat at the table, and ensure that electing Democrats remained at the center of everything we do.
Over the past four years, we have built our digital and physical infrastructure across the county, expanded volunteer engagement, more than doubled the size of our committee, strengthened relationships with labor, Democratic partners, and elected officials, improved our financial position, filed campaign finance reports in a timely and responsible fashion, and created voter-turnout programs producing measurable results. We built a state-of-the-art website, modernized our brand, created the Obama-Kukovich Spirit of Hope and Change Dinner, and reinvigorated participation at the Westmoreland Fair and other community events. Most importantly, we have seen significant increases in Democratic turnout and momentum at the ballot box.
Since 2022, we refused to be distracted and built power to increase Democratic turnout, often by double digits. In 2023, we won school board races in some of the reddest districts in Westmoreland and closed margins statewide to help elect a Supreme Court Justice. In 2024, not only did we flip the cities of New Kensington and Greensburg (kudos to all!), we were one of just a handful of counties not to backslide on numbers for Harris, and because of the WCDC Mail-Ballot-Chase Program that we created, we ranked among the highest vote-by-mail return rates in the Commonwealth. In 2025, Westmoreland County went blue for judicial retention and, with 53% Democratic turnout, we outpaced the state average and exceeded larger, better-resourced counties. In 2026, we again outperformed previous Westmoreland trends and, with candidates on the ballot in nearly every legislative district, delivered a 14% greater vote share than the Republicans, giving our candidates momentum heading into November.
But the work is not finished. While we have made important progress, the challenges ahead require experienced leadership, continued innovation, strong fundraising capacity, and a commitment to building on the foundation we have established together, while bringing new and younger voices into the process.
It's been an absolute honor
to serve you these last four years.
It's been an absolute honor to serve you these last four years and I can't begin to overstate my appreciation for everyone who's been a part of our progress. This is absolutely a team effort and we are stronger together. Today I announce that I am seeking another term as Chair because I believe the momentum we have created must continue. We have moved from rebuilding to growing, from organizing to competing, and from laying the groundwork to positioning Democrats for success throughout Westmoreland County. We have proven year after year that when we reject division, unite around shared objectives, and focus on turnout and organizing, we are powerful.
Moving forward, I plan to implement a Partisan Voter Registration Program to grow our numbers, expand training for precinct committee people, strengthen candidate recruitment and, using my 15 years of campaign experience, launch a candidate training program tailored to the realities of our county. I also plan to provide more operations support for each region by bringing in consistent field support and materials. Most importantly, I will continue working to bring more young people into Party leadership — which is why I'm excited to announce my support for Jeremy Davidson for Vice Chair of the Westmoreland County Democratic Committee.
Married for 25 years and proud mom of one daughter, I am a former public school teacher (PSEA and MLEA) with a Master's in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. I strongly support public education. I am pro-choice. I support LGBTQ+ rights and safe gun laws. I believe affordable healthcare, clean air, and clean water are fundamental human rights. I passionately support workers' rights and know that good union jobs and strong labor partnerships are essential. I am also committed to bringing more young people into the Democratic Party.
Promises made in 2022
have become promises kept.
The promises made in 2022 have become promises kept. Now, as we move into a critical midterm election, municipal election, and an opportunity to take back our country in 2028, it is time to build on our progress, join tested experience with new vision, and continue moving Westmoreland forward with you, with Jeremy Davidson, and with an amazing and growing team — toward our shared goal of electing Democrats.
I respectfully ask for your support and your vote for me as Chair and for Jeremy Davidson as Vice Chair.

Chair, Westmoreland County Democratic Committee
I am proud to be endorsed by a majority of the Democratic candidates running this November.
Commitment to Grounded Democratic Leadership.
Dear Committee Member —
We are at a pivotal moment for our nation, our Commonwealth, and our county. Effective leadership at every level requires organization, accountability, and a sustained commitment to building durable political strength that includes and elevates young and diverse voices. I am a lifelong Democrat who has spent years working at the local, county, and state levels to help strengthen our party. I am announcing my candidacy for Vice Chair of the Westmoreland County Democratic Committee.
Why I Am a Democrat
I grew up in a small Wisconsin town in a household led by a single mother raising three children. Democratic social safety‑net programs, including food assistance, heating assistance, and home weatherization, provided stability during periods of financial uncertainty. As a first‑generation college student, I was able to attend college through Pell Grants and federal student loans. Those experiences shaped both my values and my understanding of public service. College provided the foundation for my career and the basis for my entry into political involvement. I volunteered on my first Democratic campaign, came out as gay, and experienced directly what it means to be part of a political party that affirms inclusion and equal rights. I later built a professional life in New York City, where I met my partner, Sudipta. More than a decade ago, we chose to make Westmoreland County our home. I currently work as a data professional, and Sudipta works in education. As an LGBTQ+ and immigrant household, we understand how public policy shapes opportunity, stability, and dignity. And from day one, I have taken what I believe is my moral obligation to do all I can to leave things better than I found them and to ensure the protection of our fundamental human rights. That means, stepping up, putting thought into action, and leading when the moment calls. We're just months away from a critical midterm election and I believe the moment has called.
In 2016 we bought a modest home in Murrysville and within a month, after getting a visit from a precinct committee person, I joined the Murrysville Export Democratic Club and quickly began to understand the weight of Tip O'Neill's claim that "all politics is local." From there, I haven't stopped. I am currently serving in my second term as Chair of the Murrysville Export Democratic Club, where my focus has been on voter contact, candidate recruitment, sustained organizing, and building consistent Democratic presence across cycles, on all points of the ballot, and winning elections. As Chair, I've supported and led efforts in school board and state House campaigns, and I'm proud to say that these efforts have produced measurable outcomes, including flipped school board seats, sustained Democratic slates in House District 55 across three consecutive election cycles, and making Murrysville the highest Democratic Voter turnout and vote‑by‑mail‑ballot return percentage in the County.
Scale Local Experience to County Leadership
In 2022, I was invited to take on a leadership role as Treasurer of the Westmoreland County Democratic Committee and I answered that call. I have diligently focused on financial accountability, transparency, operational discipline, and organizational stability. This has included ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in every cycle and working to reduce operational expenses in order to maximize the resources available for voter contact, party building and candidate support. And with the goal of electing Democrats, I have worked closely with Chair Michelle Milan McFall to expand fundraising capacity, improve communications infrastructure, support candidates, and build a more structured and competitive organization.
In 2026 I stepped up again to ensure representation as a candidate for PA Democratic State Committee and I'm honored to have been elected by almost 13,000 Democratic voters across the county. On June 13, I attended the Democratic State Committee Reorganization and was unanimously elected by members of the nine‑county Southwest Caucus to a regional leadership position, further strengthening Westmoreland's positions and our ability to elect Democrats.
These roles have expanded my responsibility within the party, tested my leadership, proven my commitment to showing up everywhere, given me critical and unmatched insight, and prepared me to serve as Vice Chair. Now more than ever, we need everyone working to bring all of Westmoreland together around the shared objective to elect Democrats. One County. One Fight.
Looking Forward
I support the re‑election of Michelle Milan McFall as Chair and believe continuity of leadership is essential to building on recent progress. And while we are within striking distance of flipping a congressional district and legislative house seats, the shared goal must be to work together, increase vote share, and elect Democrats.
As Vice Chair, my focus will be on helping to strengthen representation and coordination across regions, assisting committee members, and working in all ways to build turnout and elect Democrats. The objective is a more unified and operationally effective party structure capable of competing at every level.
I appreciate your consideration and respectfully ask for your support for me as Vice Chair and for Michelle Milan McFall as Chair.
Respectfully,
Jeremy Davidson
